Take the bus no. 40 from the "Pyatyy kilometr" (Fifth Kilometre) stop to the "Ferma" (Farmstead) stop in Ternovka village. This monastery is carved in steeps of Chelter Kaya (Turkic for "latticed cliff") mountain, which borders the valley of Shulu from the north. The name "marmara" literally means "marble" and originates from the name of a medieval village, ruins of which are located on these slopes.
