The blocks of this region occupy a part of the western shore of Quarantine Bay. The main street, which intersected the entire city from S-W to N-E, ended here. Fourteen equally-sized residential blocks flanked the main street. Each block consisted of several houses, most often four; however, in the ancient period there were houses which occupied entire blocks. It is probable that this region was the most comfortable for living insofar as it was adjacent to the main city square.
